The South Puget Sound Community College Board of Trustees will hold a Community Forum to discuss the current and emerging education and training needs of the North Thurston County community. The forum will be held Thursday, April 13 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. at the college’s Hawks Prairie Center in Lacey.
“The college trustees and administration strive to continuously assess community needs, to respond to those needs, and create active community partnerships that mobilize programs and services,” said College President Kenneth J. Minnaert. Those efforts are critical to maintaining the vitality of the college, he said.
The college recently completed the conceptual master plan and preliminary pre-design of its planned new satellite campus in the Hawks Prairie-Lacey area. College administrators expect the Thursday forum to provide important assistance as they embark on planning programs and services for the future campus.
The forum will be held in Room 118 of the Hawks Prairie Center, located at the Hawks Prairie Mall, 1401 Marvin Road, NE, Suite 201, Lacey. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend.
