College brings a bit of Broadway to stage
OLYMPIA, Washington – South Puget Sound Community College students showcase their talents in Broadway and Beyond: a Musical Revue, an eclectic mixture of music and dance to be presented at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts. Performances will be held May 18, 19, 20, 26, and 27 at 8:00 p.m.; and May 21 and 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Minnaert Center’s Main Stage Theater.
With piano and small band accompaniment, Broadway and Beyond includes selections from Broadway musicals, jazz and blues, the great American songbook, and world music and dance.
