President finalists to begin visits to community and college

OLYMPIA — The first of five final candidates for president of South Puget Sound Community College will visit the campus and community Monday, May 15. Krista K. Rodin (pronounced Row-dean), vice provost for university outreach at the University of Connecticut, will tour the campus and community, meet staff, interview with the Board of Trustees and take part in an open forum for the community and campus.

The forum will be held on the campus in Building 26 Lecture Hall, room 105 from 2:15 - 3:15 p.m. The dates the other four finalists will visit the community are as follows:

Dr. Paul Tracy Killpatrick, president of Great Basin College in Elko, NV
Wednesday, May 24
Dr. Laurel V. Williamson, vice president and dean of faculty at Lower Columbia College in Longview, WA
Tuesday, May 30
Dr. Gerald Pumphrey, president of Bellingham Technical College in Bellingham, WA
Monday, June 5
Dr. Jill Wakefield, president of South Seattle Community College and vice chancellor of the Seattle Community College District
