College presents inaugural performance of Quartet in Residence
OLYMPIA, Washington – Respected South Sound string ensemble, Quartet del Amici, will perform Sunday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the Black Box Theater of the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts at South Puget Sound Community College.
The quartet, which has worked together for over a decade to develop a unique repertoire that includes classical, romantic and 20th century pieces, will present works from Mozart, Barber, and Beethoven at this Sunday’s performance. The group was recently named “Quartet in Residence” at South Puget Sound and will offer periodic performances at the college’s Minnaert Center.
