Community college expands online course offerings
South Puget Sound Community College has expanded its online offerings for the upcoming winter quarter. The college offers the courses through Washington Online (WAOL), a cooperative effort by the state’s community and technical college system to provide courses necessary to complete an Associate of Arts degree on the Internet.
Eleven new classes have been added to the array on online classes offered by the college for winter. The new classes include courses such as Art Appreciation, Music Survey, Composition, Chemistry, Earth Science, Developmental Psychology and Introduction to Philosophy.
Registration for online courses is currently open. Those interested in registering must first apply. They can apply in person at the Administrative and Student Services Building on campus or apply online through the college website: www.spscc.ctc.edu.
General new student registration for winter begins Nov. 7. Winter quarter classes begin Jan. 3, 2006. For more information on South Puget Sound Community College and its programs, visit the college online.
