The Shadow Box opens at South Puget Sound Community College
A month of exciting theatre offerings at South Puget Sound Community College’s Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts kicks off with “The Shadow Box.” With Don Welch directing, the South Puget Sound Theatre Department actors give life to this tale of death.
Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for best play, the drama depicts the anxious process of living with terminal cancer. Written by Michael Christofer, it brings together three characters facing the end of their lives to produce what the Boston Globe calls “an overwhelming emotional experience.”
Showtimes are May 10-12, 18, 19, 8 p.m. and May 13, 20, 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.spscc.ctc.edu/CFA or by calling 360-596-5501. Prices are $10 for general admission and $5 for seniors, students, and South Puget Sound staff.
