College schedules groundbreaking for new science complex
On July 31 at 4 p.m., South Puget Sound Community College will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its new science complex outside of Bldg. 32 on the main campus.
The 51,000-square-foot complex will feature laboratories; faculty offices; classrooms for chemistry, biology, physics, anatomy/physiology, botany and mathematics; and general classroom space. In addition, the facility will earn the distinction as the college’s first LEED-certified building.
Among those participating in the groundbreaking are College President Dr. Gerald Pumphrey, the college’s Board of Trustees, College Foundation Board representatives and local legislators.
