South Puget Sound Community College seeks Environmental Sustainability Committee members

With an eye toward the future, South Puget Sound Community College hopes to supply its Environmental Sustainability Committee with members. The committee will include a mix of college faculty, staff, and students.

To build on the college’s past environmental successes, the committee, which is chaired by Vice President of Administrative Services Nancy McKinney, researches and promotes sustainable practices relating to college purchases, facility planning, construction, waste disposal, and energy consumption. During the meetings, information about environmental concerns, practices, and ideas will be shared.

Individuals who are interested in becoming committee members should contact McKinney by calling 596-5268 or e-mailing nmckinney@spscc.ctc.edu. She would like to schedule an initial meeting for the committee before the fall quarter ends, so please talk to her as soon as possible.
