Juried Art Exhibit coming to South Puget Sound Community College
Throughout January 2007, South Puget Sound Community College’s Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts hosts the Second Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibit. A reception for the showcase will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Jan. 5.
The Juried Art Exhibit features artists from western Washington. South Puget Sound houses the exhibit as a way of strengthening connections between the college and the community. Along with demonstrating the resources the Minnaert Center’s gallery provides to visual artists, the display also spotlights the region’s abundant talent.
One artist will be chosen for the Jurors’ Award, which includes the right to a solo exhibit at the Minnaert Center during the next year.
