Students can apply for Building Our Future Scholarship

Students from South Puget Sound Community College can apply for a new scholarship offered by the Association of Washington Community and Technical College Administrators.

The Building Our Future Scholarship, which is worth $1,200, is open to applications from students who will have received their Associate of Arts, Associate of Science or some other transfer degree during the 2007-08 school year and have been admitted to a four-year college or university for fall 2008. They will have to carry full-time status at the four-year school. Also, they must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and express a serious interest to teach or administer at a community or technical college. The application deadline is May 16.
