ˇTodo Folklore Cubano! to perform at South Puget Sound Community College
At 8 p.m. on May 2 on the main stage at South Puget Sound Community College’s Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts, ˇTodo Folklore Cubano!, a Seattle-based group that presents folkloric dance traditions of Cuba, will perform.
Under the direction of José Carrión, a former principal dancer and corps professor of Ballet Folklórico Cutumba de Santiago, ˇTodo Folklore Cubano! features Afro-Cuban-Haitian dance, music and song. It incorporates the key elements of these traditions while adding its own fresh interpretations.
Tickets for the event can be purchased at www.spscc.ctc.edu/CFA or at the box office. Prices are $15 for general admission; $10 for seniors and South Puget Sound faculty and staff; and $5 for students.
