South Puget Sound Community College student receives Washington Award for Vocational Excellence
William Mojica, a student in South Puget Sound Community College’s Automotive Technology Program, has received a Washington Award for Vocational Excellence (WAVE).
The grant can pay for or help cover two years of undergraduate tuition at an accredited public or private college or university or at a licensed vocational school. Students who receive a WAVE are reimbursed up to the amount of the highest tuition charged by a public university in the state. Each year, three recipients are chosen from each legislative district in the state. Recipients are chosen based on their record of undergraduate study.
