South Puget Sound Community College welcomes speaker for discussion on Cuba

Saul Landau, an award-winning filmmaker and author who specializes in foreign policy issues, will deliver a presentation about Cuba at South Puget Sound Community College in Bldg. 26, Room 105 on May 15 at noon. “The Future of Cuba?” is open to the public.

Landau has interviewed Fidel Castro and says, “Cuba has been misread by the United States for more than 47 years.” He will provide an outlook about what to expect with regard to Cuba in the future.

Humanities Professor Don Johnson said the talk “will no doubt challenge the status quo of U.S. foreign policy.”

The discussion is sponsored by the college’s International Education Program.
