College makes tuition waiver available for flood victims

On Dec. 21, the South Puget Sound Community College Board of Trustees approved a resolution to offer tuition waivers for students who are victims of the Dec. 1, 2007, flood.

Students who qualify for the waiver could see a reduction in their tuition costs for the winter 2008 and spring 2008 quarters. To be considered, a student will need to fill out an application and provide a copy of her or his FEMA disaster letter.

To get a tuition waiver application, students should go to Student Services on the first floor of Bldg. 25 on the college’s main campus or Click Here. For more information, contact Kathy Lundeen, the college’s dean of Enrollment Services, at 360-596-5240.
