Running Start

Welcome to South Puget Sound Community College and the Running Start program! We are excited to help you in your commitment to furthering your education.

Running Start allows 11th and 12th grade students to take college level courses, tuition free, while enrolled in high school. Credit earned at the college can transfer back to the high school to count toward graduation requirements. There is the potential within two years that a student can earn both their high school diploma and their Associate degree. For more detailed program information, print off our informational brochure (pdf).
