Apprenticeship Program
The Apprenticeship Program at South Puget Sound Community College is an entryway into high-paying jobs. The program provides training to apprentices that have been approved by the Washington State Apprenticeship and Training Council.
How to Register
Option 1:
Present a letter, form or a valid apprenticeship agreement card or form indicating that you are indentured as an apprentice and what approved "trade" or profession you are apprenticing.
Option 2:
Present an Apprenticeship Registration Authorization Form completed and signed by your sponsor.
Option 3:
Present a letter from you local Apprenticeship Coordinator outlining the courses that you will be taking to complete the "trade" or profession in which you are apprenticing. Courses may be listed in total, by quarter, or annually.
Maximum clock hours per year for each Apprenticeship students should not exceed 250. Tuition for apprentices for the 2003-2004 academic year is $34.00 per credit, plus $2.97 per credit fee up to 10 credits and $1.07 per credit fee from 11 to 18 credits. To substitute a class not listed in your educational plan, you must present a letter from your sponsor authorizing the substitution.
