Returning Student Checklist
Welcome Back! The following checklist will assist you in returning to South Puget Sound Community College after an absence of two or more quarters.
- Step 1: Update Admission

- Mail-in or submit in-person an Admission Application
- By phone at (360) 596-5241
- Steps 2: Placement Testing, Advising & Registration
After updating your admission records, schedule a placement test and/or advising session, if you: -
- intend to enroll in math or English courses, 10 or more credits, or pursue a certificate or degree and have not previously tested
- prefer a test waiver to satisfy prerequisites, completed at another college since you last attended
- Additional Steps:

- Complete the Transfer of Credit Application if you intend to apply transferred credits received since last attended or anticipate receiving financial aid assistance
- Review college resources to assist with education expenses and funding
