Concert Choir and Orchestra

The South Puget Sound Community College Concert Choir and Orchestra are groups of college and community members who want to perform with other musicians and improve their playing skills. They perform at least once each quarter at South Puget Sound Community College or one of the other local colleges as well as venues in the community. Both groups frequently collaborate with other choirs and orchestras in the Olympia area. The repertoires are quite varied and include classical, Broadway show tunes, songs in different languages, sacred and secular music, folk music, and many other styles.

Both choir and orchestra meet Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. during the academic quarters in the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts on the South Puget Sound Community College campus (choir in 21-252 and orchestra in 21-253). The only requirements for joining the group are a $45 quarterly activity fee and a desire to play and learn with other musicians and singers.
