Temporary Student Activation

You are considered a temporary student if you are attending South Puget Sound Community College for only one quarter (ex: summer quarter in-between attendance at another college, high school, or during Running Start) or for a specific set of courses needed for transfer to a college or degree program that South Puget Sound Community College does not offer or for job purposes. To activate your account for registration:

1. Apply to South Puget Sound Community College.

2. You will receive an email from SPSCC welcoming you to the college and supplying your Student ID Number.

3. Activate for registration:

a.  If you are under the age of 18 and will NOT be a Running Start student for the upcoming school year please fill out the Special Admissions Application (non-Running Start). You will need to also schedule an appointment to meet with an Educational Advisor through the online scheduler. You will be required to register in person for your courses. When you meet with an Educational Advisor they will give you your registration paperwork.

b.  If you are under the age of 18 and WILL be a Running Start student for the upcoming school year please fill out the Special Admissions Application (Running Start). Please bring the completed form to Enrollment Services for processing. You will be able to register online for your courses. If taking courses over the summer quarter you will be responsible for paying full tuition. Running Start does not fund summer quarter courses.

c.  Registration for spring quarter 2014 is now closed. The activation link will re-open on May 12th for summer/fall 2014 processing. New students are able to register for classes beginning May 27th. Going through activation prior to registration will allow you to receive your registration PIN prior to active registration beginning.

4. Please keep in mind that if you are trying to register for courses that require you to submit transcripts for prerequisite override you will have to submit transcripts and register for those courses in person. You will not be able to use the online registration system for these courses.
