Registration Policy
Tuition
Check the Admission/Registration Calendar to see tuition due dates. If tuition is not paid by the tuition due date, you will be dropped from your classes. Any registration occurring after the tuition due date requires payment within 24 hours. After the tuition due date, students need to pay within 24 hours of registering. If a third party (i.e. non-profit agency, state agency or financial institution) is paying the student’s tuition contact the Cashier’s office at 596-5246 to avoid being dropped from your classes. Check the Tuition Policy page for more details.
Class Waitlist
The college maintains waitlists for high-demand courses to provide a fair and efficient way for students to register in full classes as space opens up. If you find a class that you are registering for is full, we suggest that you place your name on the waitlist. Putting your name on a waitlist MAY result in additional classes being opened. Many classes have a waitlist as they become full. You may place yourself on a waitlist via the web or in person at Enrollment Services. As space becomes available in a class, the first person on the waitlist will be automatically added into the class. The college will drop you from the class, if you:
- are enrolled in more than eighteen (18) credits without having submitted an Excess Credit Form
- become enrolled in two (2) or more different sections/duplicate courses
- have a fine or block
Check your waitlist status daily and make any adjustments within 24 hours to your schedule. The college will not notify you if changes to your class schedule occur.
