The college-operated bookstore carries required and recommended textbooks, as well as reference, self-help and other books. The South Puget Sound Community College Bookstore offers students a choice of obtaining their course materials as new, used, or in an e-book format. The bookstore is pleased to announce that we are also adding a textbook rental program to the offerings in an effort to serve our students needs.  Not all textbooks are available in a rental or e-book format however more offerings will be added each academic term.

The bookstore also carries supplies, backpacks, gift cards, calculators, headphones, computers, computer accessories, and academically priced software for Apple and PC based operating systems. If the store doesn’t have a requested item in stock, bookstore staff can place a special order to meet every students needs. The bookstore offers electronic recycling free of charge for unwanted cell phones, laptops, camcorders, etc.

Students may order textbooks to purchase or rent online through the bookstore at www.spsccbookstore.com. Textbooks are available four weeks before each academic term. The texts can be reserved for in-store pickup at the bookstore, our Hawks Prairie Center, or mailed to the student's home via UPS Ground. Skip the line, order online.  Students can also swap textbooks with other South Puget Sound Community College students via the bookstore website at www.spsccbookstore.com.

At the beginning and end of each quarter, the bookstore hosts a used text buy-back program, providing students with opportunity to sell textbooks purchased any time, from any college. Students can also sell back their book to a wholesale book partner any day of the year via the store’s website.
