NOTICE: CHANGES TO THE PARKING POLICY BEGINNING FALL QUARTER
Beginning Fall Quarter parking permits will no longer be required for vehicles to park on campus. Though permits will no longer be required, the college remains committed to maintaining a safe and orderly parking environment on campus. Please park only in designated parking spaces.
South Puget Sound Community College has limited parking, so students, faculty and staff are encouraged to find alternative methods to get to campus. Intercity Transit provides service to campus. Students taking credit classes can ride local Intercity Transit buses free anytime, anywhere with a valid student identification card. Staff and faculty may also obtain a Star Pass for their ID cards which allows free bus use.
Carpool parking is available Monday - Friday (6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.) in Lot G. There must be two or more adults in a vehicle with a valid permit. Passengers must originate from off campus. The carpool lot is not available summer quarter.
Illegally Parked Vehicles: All vehicles must park in legal parking spaces (between the white lines) and/or designated spaces/areas. Vehicles parked illegally or without a valid permit will be cited, impounded, or immobilized with a vehicle wheel lock. Parking fines are $20.00 and $450.00 for disabled parking violations.
Special permits are required for reserved spaces on campus. Reserved spaces are marked with signage.
Alternative Parking Suggestions
With record enrollment, parking on campus is a challenge. That's why South Puget Sound Community College is offering students, staff and faculty alternative ways to get to campus.
