| Using “My Library” |

| My Library is a feature that allows you to login to your account at the SPSCC Library. While you are logged in you may change your PIN, reserve an item, renew items, or create a save list. To access My Library, go to the Books and Media catalog page and then click on the “My Account” link in the Navigation section on the left. |

| Enter your student identification (SID) number. |

| Enter your PIN. If you don’t have a PIN, or the PIN you’re using doesn’t work, either come to the Library or call us at (360) 596-5271 to get help. |
|
| Once you login, you will see the “My Account” screen. Here you may click on links to see what you have checked out, renew items (if they’re not overdue or reserved by someone else), cancel reservations, or cancel or modify your alerts. |

| If you click on the “Personal Details” tab, you may change your PIN and/or email address. To change your other contact information you must contact the Library. |

| The “New Alert Profile” tab will allow you to have our system inform you whenever new items matching your alerts are added to the collection. |

| Forgot Your PIN? |
|
| If you don’t remember your PIN, click on the “Forgot Your PIN?” link. You will be asked for your SID number and your last name. The system will send you your PIN via your email address. If you don’t have an email address registered with us you should contact the Library directly to get a new PIN. |

Reserving Items for Pickup at the Main Campus
|

| If you want to reserve an item, click on the “Catalog” link and search for the item you wish to reserve. Select the item(s) you wish to reserve. Since you are logged in you will be able to click on the “Reserve Item” button at the top of the screen. Choose the "Main Campus" location, then click on “Submit.” The system will let you know if the reservation has been successful. If the item is currently not available you will be notified when it becomes available. You must come to the Library to pick up a book you have reserved online. |

Reserving items for Pickup at Hawks Prairie

| The procedure is the same, except choose "Hawks Prairie" as your pickup location. Please allow three business days for the book to be delivered to Hawks Prairie. |

| My SavedList |
|
| You can use a SavedList to create a list of records with which you want to work. For example, you might create a SavedList of records you want to reserve. Simply do a search, select the items you want on your list by clicking on the box next to the item, then click the “Save Selections” button. If you then click on the “My SavedList” link on the left, you will see your list and be able to print it, save it to a flash drive, or email it. SavedLists are automatically deleted after five days. |

| You may create an alert and have the system tell you when items are added to the Library's collection that match your criteria. |
