Jun 13th, 2013 South Puget Sound Community College 2013 Commencement
More than 1,500 degrees and certificates will be handed out, as South Puget Sound Community College holds it 2013 commencement ceremony June 14, 2013, at 6 p.m. on the grounds of the campus' soccer field.
Jun 13th, 2013 Crosby Loop Closed for More Ongoing Construction
Beginning Monday, June 17, the Crosby Loop road at South Puget Sound Community College, will be completely closed to all traffic as crews begin work on a new covered walkway and transit area. The loop is expected to be closed for at least four weeks. Dr. Nels Hanson Way will remain open.

New South Puget Sound Community College men’s basketball coach Aaron Landon announced his first signing, inking Union High School’s (Vancouver, Wash.) Chris Williams to a Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges’ Letter of Intent this week.
Jun 12th, 2013 College Lands $200,000 Grant for CMT Program
South Puget Sound Community College received a $200,000 grant over a three-year period from the National Science Foundation for its Computerized Manufacturing Technology (CMT) program. The grant, announced May 23, will allow the program to achieve National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) accreditation.
May 16th, 2013 Theater Program Provides a 'View of the Dome'
The South Puget Sound Community College Theater Program is dealing in dirty politics summer quarter, bringing View of the Dome to the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Black Box Theater. The humor-filled tale of political corruption and revenge opens on May 23.
May 16th, 2013 Spring Concert Celebrates Patriotic Selections
The South Puget Sound Community College Concert choirs will present their spring concert, A Salute to America, featuring songs celebrating America on Wednesday, June 5. The Department of Washington American Legion Band, led by Conductor Kevin Roberston and Manager/Associate Conductor Diana Appler, will be featured in the concert.
May 2nd, 2013 Students Showcased in Upcoming Gallery Exhibit
The Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Gallery will host the 8th Annual Student Art Exhibit May 10 through June 6. A special reception is planned for Friday, May 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
May 2nd, 2013 Campus Services Unavailable Late Afternoon of May 7
Services at South Puget Sound Community College will be unavailable from 3 – 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013. College employees will be attending an all-campus meeting. Evening classes will run as normal on May 7. Services at the college will be available as normal Wednesday May 8.
Apr 17th, 2013 Earth Day Brings Variety of Vendors
South Puget Sound Community College is hosting a variety of environmental groups and organizations in celebration of Earth Day. And while Earth Day itself is on April 22, the South Puget Sound celebration will take place Thursday, April 25 from noon to 2 p.m. in the Student Union Building.
Apr 11th, 2013 Museum of Glass Visits Campus
The Museum of Glass Mobile Hot Shop Team is ready to put its glass-blowing prowess on display at South Puget Sound Community College. The museum’s mobile outreach crew will be on campus on Thursday, April 18 and Friday, April 19.
