South Puget Sound Community College will officially cut the ribbon on two new buildings on Thursday, Oct. 14.
While the Automotive, Welding and Central Services Building (16) began serving students last spring quarter, and the Anthropology, CAD & Geomatics Building (23) opened to students this fall, the official dedication ceremony will take place Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the college.
Festivities will begin at 5:30 with an open house of Building 23. In addition to acknowledgments from South Puget Sound President Dr. Gerald Pumphrey, Board of Trustees Chair Judy Blinn will also make remarks.
Following the ribbon cutting, a path of luminaria will lead attendees to Building 16, where at 6:30 Pumphrey and Blinn will again dedicate that building. Following that ribbon cutting, Building 16 will also be open for self-guided tours.
