“Crosscurrents,” coming to South Puget Sound Community College’s Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Gallery this November, is more than just a gallery exhibit. In addition to a large variety of media, the exhibit celebrates 30 years of the Washington Community College Humanities Association (WCCHA).

The traveling exhibit features painting, printmaking, writing, drawing and ceramics by Washington community college writing and art instructors who have been published in WCCHA’s annual publication. Participants include humanities faculty from South Puget Sound Community College, Grays Harbor College, Tacoma Community College and more.

The exhibit runs from Nov. 10 through Dec. 9, with the reception on Friday, Nov. 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., featuring a live poetry reading. Gallery hours are Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 4 p.m. and by appointment. The gallery will be closed on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 25).
