The South Puget Sound Community College Athletics Program has had a busy summer, offering a full slate of summer basketball skills camps. And with two successful camps completed, the Clippers have one more camp available to area youth.

The final Live.Learn.Hoop. camp is August 9-11 and is for boys and girls in the fifth-through-eighth grades. The camp will be held at the South Puget Sound gym from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The camp will focus on developing defensive fundamentals, rebounding and ball-handling skills, shooting and passing. Participants will have the chance to practice these skills through drills, controlled scrimmages and game situations. The final day features a tournament amongst the campers. All participants also receive a t-shirt and certificate. Cost is $60 per camp. Registration forms are available online at saw.spscc.ctc.edu/athletics.
