Dec 27th, 2012   College Services Unavailable After 5 p.m. Dec. 31

Services at South Puget Sound Community College will be unavailable after 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31.  Services at the college will resume as normal Wednesday, Jan. 2.

Dec 24th, 2012   Stokes Accepts Presidency of South Puget Sound

Dr. Timothy Stokes will be the next president of South Puget Sound Community College.  Stokes accepted the job offer, which was extended by unanimous vote of the college’s Board of Trustees during its Dec. 14, 2012, meeting.  He will assume the post Feb. 1, 2013.

Dec 16th, 2012   Stokes offered presidency

The Board of Trustees of South Puget Sound Community College voted to extend a job offer to Dr. Timothy Stokes to serve as the next president of the institution. The decision to extend the offer was reached after a unanimous vote during the Board’s Dec. 14 meeting.

Dec 6th, 2012   Candidate Stokes to visit community and college Dec. 11

OLYMPIA — The last of five candidates for president of South Puget Sound Community College will visit the campus and community, Tuesday, Dec. 11.  Dr. Timothy S. Stokes, executive vice president for Academic and Student Affairs at Tacoma Community College in Tacoma, Washington, will tour the campus and community, meet faculty and staff, visit with the Board of Trustees, and take part in an open forum for the community and campus.

OLYMPIA — The fourth of five candidates for president of South Puget Sound Community College will visit the campus and community, Monday, Dec. 10.  Dr. David M. Smith, vice president of Instruction and Student Affairs at Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely, Colorado, will tour the campus and community, meet faculty and staff, visit with the Board of Trustees, and take part in an open forum for the community and campus.
