Ordinary People is anything but an ordinary play.

The play, which the South Puget Sound Community College Drama Program brings to the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts in November, follows the story of Conrad Jarrett, who struggles with the loss of his older brother, as well as his relationships with friends and family. This play speaks to the essence of a young man, the changing environment around him, and survival. This Nancy Pahl Gilsenan play is adapted from the novel of the same name by Judith Guest.

Ordinary People runs from Nov. 8-11 and again Nov. 15-18. The Nov. 11 and 18 showings are at 2 p.m., and all other showings are at 8 p.m. The play will run at the Minnaert Center Black Box Theater.

Tickets are $15 for the general public, and $10 for students, faculty and staff. Tickets will be available online at or by calling (360) 753-8586.

More information is available at (360) 596-5411.
