Aug 19th, 2010 'Illusion/Allusion' Opens 2010-11 Minnaert Gallery Season
South Puget Sound Community College kicks off the 2010-11 season at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Gallery with “Illusion/Allusion: Paintings by Barlow Palminteri and Ron Hinson.” The exhibit opens on Wednesday, Sept. 22.

The South Puget Sound Community College Bookstore has announced an innovative textbook rental program designed to lower the cost of textbooks for students while providing students the choice between renting or purchasing textbooks.
Jul 15th, 2010 'Laramie Project' returns '10 Years Later'
It's been more than eight years since the South Puget Sound Community College Drama Department hosted The Laramie Project, a play highlighting the death of gay University of Wyoming student Matthew Shepard. Now, the play returns in a new form as The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later, revisiting the community and its ongoing struggle to cope with what happened that night. The play opens on Thursday, Aug. 5 at 8 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts.
Jun 24th, 2010 South Puget Sound Hires Heuer as New Women's Hoops Coach
It didn’t take long for Mychael Heuer and Curtis Norwood to reunite.
Shortly after announcing the hiring of Norwood as new men’s basketball coach at South Puget Sound Community College, the Clippers today announce the hiring of Heuer to take the helm of the women’s program. Both were assistant coaches on the women’s team at The Evergreen State College last season.

New South Puget Sound Community College men’s hoops coach Curtis Norwood has wasted little time since taking over the program, announcing his first signing in Ridgefield High School standout Robert “Scott” Backstrom.

Services at South Puget Sound Community College will be unavailable from 7:30 – 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 21, 2010. College employees will be attending an all-campus, end-of-year meeting. Services at the college will resume by 10:30 a.m. Monday.

South Puget Sound Community College is seeking comment from the public in preparation for an evaluation by its regional accrediting body. The college is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
May 18th, 2010 Building 25 Begins Thursday Late Openings Soon
The first floor of Building 25 on the South Puget Sound Community College Olympia campus will open for service at 10 a.m. on Thursdays only beginning May 20.
May 18th, 2010 'Showtune' a Performance to Move, Sing Along With
The South Puget Sound Community College Drama Department is paying homage to Jerry Herman, one of the most celebrated Broadway composers and lyricists of our time, with a staging of Showtune, an off-Broadway show inspired by Herman’s autobiography.
