The South Puget Sound Community College Athletics Program has had a busy summer, offering a full slate of summer basketball skills camps. And with two successful camps completed, the Clippers have one more camp available to area youth.

Nearly 1,300 degrees and certificates will be handed out, as South Puget Sound Community College holds it 2011 commencement ceremony June 17, 2011, at 6 p.m. on the grounds of the campus' soccer field.

South Puget Sound Community College art students shine every day with their creative works in the classroom. Now, they will share their creativity at the college’s annual Student Art Exhibit, beginning Wednesday, May 18 at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Gallery.

Still searching for that perfect Mother’s Day gift? Procrastination leave you empty handed? Fear not, as the 37^th annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale at South Puget Sound Community College is here in time to save her big day.

Services at South Puget Sound Community College will be unavailable from 3 – 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. College employees will be attending an all-campus meeting. Evening classes will run as normal April 26. Services at the college will be available as normal Wednesday, April 27.

South Puget Sound Community College welcomes back the Native American Heritage Art Exhibit for its third year on Wednesday, April 6 at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Gallery.

Gov. Christine Gregoire will be on hand to help South Puget Sound Community College honor recipients at the 16^th annual 2011 All-Washington Academic Team recognition ceremony on Thursday, March 24. South Puget Sound again hosts the event, which begins at noon at the college’s Student Union Building.

South Puget Sound Community College will be represented by two students at the 2011 All-Washington Academic Team recognition ceremony Thursday, with both Katrina Boutwell and Man Sze Yu earning the accolade.

South Puget Sound Community College is offering a Career Explorer’s Workshop, meant to help students choose a career or degree path.
