Sep 12th, 2012 College Opens Late September 18 for Convocation
South Puget Sound Community College will open late Tuesday, Sept. 18, as employees spend the morning attending an all-campus convocation meeting in preparation for fall quarter. College operations will resume at 1 p.m. that day.
Sep 12th, 2012 Drawn to Abstraction Opens Minnaert Gallery
This fall will see the abstract works of not one but four featured artists at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Gallery.
Sep 11th, 2012 Parking Permits Out, Sustainable Commuting Still In
South Puget Sound Community College recently paid off bonds used to build and maintain the parking lots on its Mottman Road campus. And with no future lots planned (or space to build them for that matter), beginning fall quarter, parking permits are no longer required to park on campus.
Sep 10th, 2012 Construction Keeps Buses at Mottman
Due to ongoing construction work at South Puget Sound Community College, Intercity Transit buses will continue to service the college at the Mottman Road entrance in front of the Minnaert Center through the middle of fall quarter. Normally, buses use the Crosby Road entrance and loop.

On Aug. 15, Twisties Frozen Yogurt is benefiting to the South Puget Sound Community College Athletics Program.
Jul 26th, 2012 Phone Service Down July 27
On Friday, July 27, telephone service will be unavailable from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) at the Mottman Road and Hawks Prairie campuses while the telecom servers are being moved to the new data center. The college website and other network functions will run as normal.
The Hawks Prairie Center will have limited telephone services. The public may contact the Hawks Prairie Center that day using an alternative number: (360) 407-0483.

Jul 9th, 2012 College Trustees invite applications for president
The Board of Trustees of South Puget Sound Community College invites applications and nominations for the position of President at the college. The President serves as the Chief Executive Officer and reports directly to an appointed five-member Board.
Jul 3rd, 2012 Wadley Named Trustee of Year
South Puget Sound Community College Trustee Richard N. Wadley was recently named the 2012 Trustee of the Year by Washington state’s Trustee Association for Community and Technical Colleges (TACTC).
