Aug 13th, 2014   Pablo Menendez, Mezcla to Perform in Minnaert Center

The first installment of the year’s SPSCC Jazz Series highlights jazz musician Pablo Menendez and Mezcla, direct from Cuba. The ensemble is set to perform in the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts at South Puget Sound Community College on Sept. 18.

Jul 29th, 2014   Crosby Loop Closed; Buses to Use Crosby During Construction

The Crosby Road entrance to the college is CLOSED while construction crews repave sidewalks and part of the roadway in the Crosby loop. Enter through 29th Ave/RW Johnson or Mottman Road entrances. Intercity Transit bus service is happening at the Mottman loop in front of the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts during the closure.

Jul 17th, 2014   Student Kangiser Wins Gold at SkillsUSA Championships

South Puget Sound Community College Automotive Technology student Mike Kangiser claimed a gold medal at the SkillsUSA Championships in Kansas City, Missouri. Kangiser earned gold in Customer Service at the June 23-27 SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference.

Jun 12th, 2014   SPSCC Hosts 2014 Commencement

More than 2,000 degrees, certificates and diplomas will be awarded, as South Puget Sound Community College holds it 2014 commencement ceremony June 20, 2014, at 6 p.m. on the grounds of the campus' soccer field. That all adds up to the largest graduating cohort in the history of the college.
