Important Notices
Tuition:
Students must pay tuition by the due date or be dropped from all their classes. Tuition is due 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the quarter. After the tuition due date, students need to pay within 24 hours of registering. If a third party (i.e. non-profit agency, state agency or financial institution) is paying the student’s tuition contact the Cashier’s office at 596-5246 to avoid being dropped from your classes. Check the
Tuition Policy page for more details.
Waitlists:
Many but not all classes have waitlists. If a class is full a student may still be able to add themselves to the waitlist. Students
will not be notified if they are moved from a waitlist into a class. It is the student’s responsibility to check their registration daily in order to adjust their schedule or pay tuition. Please see the
Waitlist Policy for more details.
Common Courses:
Washington's Community and Technical Colleges want to make it easier for students to transfer credits among the state's 34 community and technical colleges. We have implemented a
Common Course Numbering system, which means that the same courses will be titled and numbered in a similar way at every community college in the state. Please click on the link to see the chart of
new course names and numbers as compared with South Puget Sound Community College’s previous courses names and numbers. Courses that have been identified as Common Courses have an "&" sign after the course title, for example: ENGL&.
