Student Support Services

The Student Support Services Office provides a supportive atmosphere where students can reflect on major decisions or talk about important issues in their lives. Some of the issues that counselors can help with include choosing a career, success in college, dealing with home concerns, handling stress, improving communications, or merely dealing with the pressures that people face from time to time.

The Office's services include assistance with the admissions process (help getting started), assistance with program and class selection, individual and group counseling sessions, information about degree requirements and transfer programs, information about GED (General Education Development) and adult high school completion programs, referral and information about community resources, occupational information resources, and classes or workshops in career/life planning, stress management, study skills and test taking.

Our Counselors are trained professionals and any information shared with them is confidential.
